Setup overview

A few things
before you start.

Does my Mac need to stay on?

Yes. Your Mac runs Nedinn, stores your issues, and runs the AI tools. Keep it on and keep Nedinn running when you connect from your phone.

How does my phone connect?

Use Tailscale on your Mac and phone. In Nedinn’s phone settings, scan the QR code and confirm the number shown on your phone.

Does my data leave my Mac?

Your issues, conversations, and original attachments are stored on your Mac. When you ask AI, the request and selected analysis content are sent to your chosen AI service.

Which AI tools can I use?

The current release connects Codex and Claude Code. Set up the tool and sign in through Nedinn’s guidance. AI access and usage follow your provider’s plan.

Does AI change my issues automatically?

Issue changes start as proposals. You review and add, apply, or delete from each proposal card. File and CLI permissions are separate.

Can I use Nedinn in Korean?

Yes. English is the starting language, and you can choose Korean during setup or change it in settings.
